A napokban nyilatkozott az Oasis gitárosa, Noel Gallagher arról, hogy várhatóan még az idén kiadják saját Get The Balance Right! verziójukat, és azt is megtudhatjuk, hogy a depeCHe MODE az a banda, amely megérdemelne egy életműdíjat, de soha nem fogják megkapni…
Egyébként az Oasis nemrég kapta meg ezt az elismerést a Brit Awards-on.
“depeCHe MODE received some unlikely support this week from Oasis singer Noel Gallagher after his band won a Lifetime Achievement Award at a predictably lifeless and tired Brit Awards.
In an interview with Radio Two, Noel slammed the Brits and it’s obsession with acts on major labels; ‘See, depeCHe MODE for instance have never been on a major record label in their entire career, if anyone deserves a lifetime achievement for what they’ve done it would be them, but they’ll never get it.”
Oasis are expected to release their cover of MODE’s influential 1983 single ‘Get The Balance Right’ later this year..
